THANK YOU Pinterest!

Sometimes with Pinterest, I get so busy gathering that I don't actually try to make anything. But I have had this in my head all season long. Chicken pot pie weather is here!
Sunday night I made individual Chicken Pot Pies for everyone... using the Pioneer Woman's recipe (perfection), although I did add some potatoes. I also added pie crust legs and some sliced black olive for eyes. Yum!
Nothing says fall like Chicken Pot Pie!

Beautiful Fall Leaf Garland : Paper Crafts

I am so excited to share the latest garland we've made! If you enjoy fall as much as I do, you will love this beautiful fall leaf garland. I was inspired to create it after watching the maple trees near my home turn colors. At their height, some of them literally seem to glow. It's mesmerizing!
This garland is made up of 105, 3.5" paper leaves. Total, there are 7 different assorted fall colors in each kit. All leaves are made from premium textured cardstock. I especially like how long it is...30 feet! You'll have plenty of length to hang it up just about anywhere. I think the crinkled leaves give it an authentic fall look. Its' simple assembly makes it an easy fall project (should take you no more than 20 minutes). I love how it came together and hope you do too!

The Baked Brownie : Recipes

As most of my readers well know....I LOVE chocolate. Especially dark chocolate. So when I found these brownies on Brown Eyed Baker (or BEB...as she refers to herself), I just had to share! Apparently, both Oprah and American's Test Kitchen rated these as their favorite brownie. Don't they look divine?
BEB has a great write up about these decadent little morsels and how to make them. They hail from the famed Baked Cookbook (which now has been added to my Amazon wish list). According to BEB, these aren't "thin, gooey and smooshed like some brownies." Rather, "they have substance and heft when you bite into them...and they have the ever-elusive and much sought after thin, crackly brownie crust that seems to be the calling card of amazing brownies." Sold! Pass the cold milk please!

Family Moment : Brillant. Problem Solved :)

This year, we took Kelsie and Abby up on their early Christmas shopping offer. We made our list and they started shopping in September! This has never been done at our place. Ever. So the dilemma was what do we do about the clothes that are on the girls lists? Get them early to find good deals and stretch our dollars which is a good thing. But try to return them after Christmas? Not so good when they are purchased early. And then it hit me. Why not cover their eyes and have them try their clothes on for the rest of us? This way we will know it is a good looking fit for them and rest easy. Ski goggles worked perfectly with toilet paper stuffed into them. No peeking! Let the Christmas music begin : )

DIY : Halloween Narrow Pennant Banner

As the haunting hour draws near, I am getting more and more in the mood for all things Halloween-ish. Our new DIY banner is less spooky, however, and more sparkly.
It's Halloween decoration with style!
These pennants are made from textured card stock and are much more narrow than the ones I've made in the past. Also, the whole banner measures 14', so you'll have plenty of length to work with. It could easily be double hung (for that fun layered look) or even looped around the side of a table. My favorite are the silver glittered pennants! Don't they set it off nicely?

Putting It Together : Halloween

I frequently hear customers in my store say things like: "I love the way you put things together" or "You have such cute things...I wish I knew how to use them all!" or "These banners are so cute, but where would I put them?" Today's blog is dedicated to answering some of these questions and help you put something fabulous together.  And because it is October, I'm only going to focus on Halloween.

Kids Halloween Party : Spider Theme
Little kids are usually afraid of spiders.  However, all of my spider creations are too cute to spook. I can see a child's party table decorated with soda pop bottles, Spider Straws, and either these Spider Treat Cups or Spider Pillow Boxes. Above the table, our Spider Garland is spookily draped. It is always best to accent your table with festive colors of the season. Imitation spider webs would add a nice touch as well. If you want a little more variety and color,  replace the pillow boxes or cups with our whimsical Halloween Treat Boxes, shown below.

Friend Gathering : Casual
These 3 decorations are some of my favorite! Imagine a table set for a nice friend luncheon. What's on the menu? Pumpkin soup!  An Owl Pillow Box is set at each place...a gift for each guest. In the center of the table is a spooky branch arrangement in a vase. The branches have been spray-painted black and decorated with our Clothespins Bats. Overhead our stylish Halloween Dot Garland has been carefully hung.

Of course, we have many many more Halloween Creations to offer.  You can check them all out here. And, don't forget to let me know if this post was helpful!

Acorn Banner

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I was able to winterize the garden and play with the family, so I am feeling energized and ready to go. Have any of you bought your Halloween pumpkins yet? I'm kicking the week off with my brand new Acorn Banner
This banner's design is simple, crafty and a completely new style for me. I especially love the gold-glittered edging along the acorn caps coupled with the natural twine. These help create its' charming, playful feel...don't you think? Once hung, this banner could easily be left up for the whole fall season.

Gobble...Gobble...Gobble

Our newest fall wood craft is a definite crowd pleaser. Don't you just love this guys little face?
I am in love with the four coordinating paper patterns used in this kit! Beautifully designed, the colors are neutral enough to match any color scheme, yet festive enough for fall. Also, it is only an easy 60 minute project (we like to keep things easy around here)!

Thanksgiving Friends

It may not even be Halloween yet, but inside the shop and late into the night we are busy creating for Thanksgiving. So far we've made a utensil pocketbanners, and a beautiful Thanksgiving sampler.  We also have several fall wood crafts available. Todays post is about another one of my favorite fall wood creations. These Thanksgiving Friends are or so cute, don't you think?
The wood and supplies to make these guys are now available and you have three purchase options. You can either buy the unfinished wood kit or the unfinished wood kit and supplies (for crafters like me who to make it themselves). Or, let us do the work for you and buy it pre-made (a nice option if you are short on time). I anticipate a more Thanksgiving/Fall creations to come your way in the weeks to come, so look for them. Meanwhile, get our wood in your hands and start dreaming of these easy to create projects!

By the way...what is your favorite Pebbles fall creation?

New Dictionary Print Banners

It has been fun putting together new custom banners for this holiday season. I wanted to make a few that were more simple in design, shape and color. Here are two of my latest creations.

What I love about this banner is its' country charm. Can't you see this hung over a Thanksgiving table or along a hearth?  The pennants are hand-stamped and made with dictionary paper.

This banner's design makes it perfect as a background decoration for any harvest themed party. Its' pennants are made from dictionary paper as well, yet are more narrow. Simple and charming, don't you think?

Personalize The Season : Customized Tags

Happy Friday everyone!  I can't wait to get out and enjoy some of the weather before it gets too cold. In the past 2 days I've spotted several pumpkin "for sale" stands and the colors outside are simply glorious! Fall is here and I intend to enjoy every minute of it. Today I am sharing 3 unique tags created to help you personalize this holiday season.
Make a really cute "gratitude tree" with these Photo Kraft Dictionary Tags and some paper leaf cut-outs. Simply collect branches, cut out leaves, make tags and assemble!
"Give Thanks In All Things".  These darling little Pumpkin Tags make perfect gratitude notes on a Thanksgiving table.  Ask your guests to take a minute and jot down something they are grateful for!
For a blast from the past, use these Polaroid Frames to create memorable frames for your pictures. I especially like to use these as frames for pictures of my family's earlier years.

The way I see it, any type of holiday decor is much more interesting when personalized. It makes everyone feel welcome and remembered.  Who doesn't love that?

Thanksgiving Memory Banner Kit

Get your photos out of storage!  Our newest memory banner add-on kit is now complete.  Announcing the Thanksgiving Memory Banner KIT.
I am so very pleased with each of its' pieces. I especially love the warm color palette!

Don't you love these glittery "Thanksgiving" letters? They give the whole banner a warm
festiveness without feeling gaudy.
I've been really surprised by the many different conversations my memory banner has generated. People love to ask questions about each picture I pin up. I have admit, I love talking about my family and experiences.  Haven't you always wanted an excuse to talk about yourself? However, the thing I love most about my memory banner is the simple way it helps me show each of my loved ones how special they are.

Fall Samplers

Happy October 1st everyone!  Are your Halloween decorations up yet?  I can't wait to see all my little grandkids running around, dressed up in their costumes.  To celebrate the season, I've just released two special Fall Samplers; one for Halloween and one for Thanksgiving.

These exclusive 8 x 10 prints are printed on 8.5 x 11 ledger-aged card stock. Each sampler is also available as a 12 x 12 sheet of 3 x 4 cards.   Follow the links below to order.

Thanksgiving Sampler | 8 x 10 sheet     12 x 12 sheet of 3 x 4 cards     Silhouette pattern
Halloween Sampler     | 8 x 10 sheet     12 x 12 sheet of 3 x 4 cards     Silhouette pattern

I like to mount mine inside a frame, which has been spray-painted with a coordinating color. I usually pick my frames up from a local thrift store. The smaller cards look great when hung from our Basic Dictionary Print Memory Banner...a perfect way to display your family photos throughout the holidays.
