Inspiration or Desperation?

Probably a little of both. For our Relief Society Birthday Party we worked on service projects and also wrote the missionaries. In needing to provide the stationery, I was wondering what to do, but last minute thought about color copying old ward activities of when they were younger... then we wrote our letters to the missionaries on the blank white side. All in all, it ended up being a cool idea that hopefully will bring a smile to our 8 missionaries when they get them in the mail and let them know they are loved and in our prayers. I think this idea would be good for writing grandparents or thank you notes too :)

Writing the Missionaries

For our Laurel activity night, I brought 12x12 Christmas printed paper and we each wrote notes to the 9 missionaries in our ward... passing the papers around 9 times until they were done. Then we passed them back to their parents to mail. A very smart idea as we have a small budget to work with. It felt good to write them and let them know we are thinking about them :)
