NEW! Neighborhood Gift Display Ideas

Hi Friends!
Our Neighborhood gift ideas have just arrived! This year we are keeping the ideas delightfully simple and affordable for you in two styles:

1. Circle Label Sheets that can be punched out and coordinate with our die-cuts to make tags... add glitter and candy dots and finish off with a Divine Twine string... How cute is that?

2. Preprinted 3x3cards that can simply be cut and are ready to go. Easy!

Either way is a win-win with the time you will save and the neighbors, co-workers and friends you will delight! Ideas sheets and display are in the stores now and will be online at the end of today. Have a wonderful Halloween weekend,
-Brenda

Day 15: Monster Houses

Last night we made Monster Houses for the first time.... I overloaded on the sugar and ate my way as I went along. We starting decorating with our black frosting and butter knives, making a mess and when we looked up, our Ashlee was at the end of he table with her frosting in a piping bag, creating a much more professional house... no matter how they turned out, we had a great time creating and look forward to eating off of them from now until Halloween. Try it with your kids... it was great fun!

Day 14: Witch Broom

Hmmm... As I create this 31 Days of Halloween countdown list, I am learning more about my changing self. I am happy creating a simple holiday treat to enjoy and eat and then it's gone. I like not having a lot of things around me to take care of. Sometimes 'stuff' overwhelms me... unless it's my favorite kind of stuff. Does anyone else feel the same way? When it comes to gift giving and being thoughtful, I think it's the simple treats like these cute witches brooms that make the perfect gift... made from pretzel sticks and miniature peanut butter cups. YUM! They won't last long... Enjoy your day!

Day 12: Get Your Sparkle On!

Die Cuts + Glitter = SPARKLE!!! I started this morning and can't seem to stop :) You can turn an ordinary sheet of paper into pure specialness!

Simply draw designs on your die shapes with the tip of the white glue container, or use a toothpick. No worries... the glue will dry clear. No need to go clear to the edge... leave your fingertips a place to hold on to. Work fast, while the glue is still wet. Place the die cut over a sheet of paper (with a fold in the center) and sprinkle with glitter. Tap your design to remove the excess glitter on to paper and set aside to dry. Carefully pick up your paper by the sides and shake the glitter towards the center, in the fold and slide glitter back into the container for another day... Have fun getting your sparkle on! Find the glitter here or in stores.

Day 8: Handprint Bats

I am the first to admit that when it comes to hand print crafts, I am the first to over do it... and happily so. I can make anything out of a hand print. These are the keepsakes I hold on to and treasure year after year. Add googly eyes and a clothespin or magnet to the back for display!
Happy Day!

Day 7: Ribbon Bats

I found this idea on the Martha Stewart website and made it at Pebbles. The bat is simply a 3"piece of black ribbon, tied into a knot, then glued down. Real quick, easy and affordable! My kind of craft! You can use lunch bags or the smaller bags would be great for a place setting. We even made them into kits to make it easier for you! Fill with your favorite treats and watch how big your kids and friends can smile :)
Have a great day!

Day 1: The Countdown to Halloween Begins!

31 Creative ideas in 31 days. Can I do this? I am the first to admit that life gets in the way of my best intentions. I am not the woman that even pretends to do everything or be everything, but yes, I believe I can do this. Why? Because they are a scattering of all sorts of ideas and they all have one thing in common... I love them AND they are affordable and incredibly easy to make. I know myself well enough to know that it doesn't matter how cute something is, if it is hard or expensive, I will never make it. I will file it away, until one day, I wonder why I saved it... sound familiar? Jump in and do some of these ideas that we will show you each day... you will delight your family and be glad you did :)
Happy Friday to all of you!
