I am officially in love with Fall. I look forward to it all year long and I ache when the last leaf drops. The cool nights, the layered sweater days, the hot cocoa and chicken pot pies... The nesting begins. We have already eaten two pumpkin pies and I am sure there are plenty more on the way. Yum! Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa is coming soon. Before it's too late, I wanted to share one last banner with you. As many of you already know, my Merry Christmas Kraft/Doily Banner has been around for quite a while now and is considered (I think) a Pebbles classic! Keeping It Simple : Classic Merry Christmas Banner

Henry David Thoreau wrote "Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify." I couldn't agree more! When my life gets complicated, I usually end up far from the things that matter most:  family, friends, time to enjoy the little things, serving others and my faith. Keeping this Christmas simple was the inspiration for our latest banner because a simple holiday season is a joyful holiday season.

Of course, this banner could be easily embellished with sprigs of holly, mistletoe, ribbons or small Christmas ornaments. It's the perfect decoration for the traditionalist who likes things uncomplicated. :)

Christmas Memory Banner

With Thanksgiving neatly tucked away, I feel ready to begin the Christmas season. I hope all of you had a great time. Isn't it wonderful to spend a day with those you love? I also hope you took plenty of pictures! As my family has grown...pictures are my treasure.

Today, I felt like showing you our newest Memory Banner. It contains 8 of our darling quote cards, along with classic mercantile tags, glitter letters (spelling "Merry Christmas") and Holly Berry die-cuts.

Peace On Earth : Banners

We are excited to share another one of our holiday banners with you. I have enjoyed making these so much, and your response has been overwhelming! Thank you for all the nice compliments and feedback. I love hearing your thoughts and ideas!

Our Peace On Earth banner is a simple, whimsical, craft banner that measures 12 feet long. My favorite feature is the mistletoe...its' berries are made out of buttons! Also, take a close look at the flags. They are made from 2 different shades of vintage pink!

The only extra supplies you will need to make this banner are a silver glitter glue and a basic craft glue (see link to my favorite glitter glue below). In all, this banner makes an easy 30 minute project.

Christmas Is In The Bag : Countdown Banner

Your family will have so much fun counting down the days to Christmas with this darling advent calendar. It's a little bit country...and a little bit modern too.

The great thing about this calendar is its' ease of assembly. Just 4 steps: place stickers on paper bags, hang twine, clip bags to twine, fill bags. So simple! Also, the kraft paper bags are large enough to slip in a variety of surprises, like treats, gift cards, service coupons, notes...you get the idea. If you are looking for something to add to the Christmas spirit in your home that doesn't cost a lot and is easy to do, this is it.

Christmas Banners : Jingle All The Way

We are finally ready to show the many Christmas garlands & banners I have been creating. They've all come together so nicely, that we've hung several up in the shop (we have to show off a little). If you are in the area, stop by for a visit to see!

This little banner just radiates jolliness, doesn't it? I think it's the combination of bright red tag cards with real jingle bells. Whatever the reason, it works! In my mind, I picture it as a decoration piece for a home or party. Might even work in the workplace...you know, to brighten that place up a bit. Hey! That reminds me of the now famous "Elf" quote:

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

DIY : Halloween Narrow Pennant Banner

As the haunting hour draws near, I am getting more and more in the mood for all things Halloween-ish. Our new DIY banner is less spooky, however, and more sparkly.
It's Halloween decoration with style!

These pennants are made from textured card stock and are much more narrow than the ones I've made in the past. Also, the whole banner measures 14', so you'll have plenty of length to work with. It could easily be double hung (for that fun layered look) or even looped around the side of a table. My favorite are the silver glittered pennants! Don't they set it off nicely?

Acorn Banner

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I was able to winterize the garden and play with the family, so I am feeling energized and ready to go. Have any of you bought your Halloween pumpkins yet? I'm kicking the week off with my brand new Acorn Banner. 

This banner's design is simple, crafty and a completely new style for me. I especially love the gold-glittered edging along the acorn caps coupled with the natural twine. These help create its' charming, playful feel...don't you think? Once hung, this banner could easily be left up for the whole fall season.

New Dictionary Print Banners

It has been fun putting together new custom banners for this holiday season. I wanted to make a few that were more simple in design, shape and color. Here are two of my latest creations.

What I love about this banner is its' country charm. Can't you see this hung over a Thanksgiving table or along a hearth?  The pennants are hand-stamped and made with dictionary paper.

This banner's design makes it perfect as a background decoration for any harvest themed party. Its' pennants are made from dictionary paper as well, yet are more narrow. Simple and charming, don't you think?

DIY : Basic Dictionary Pennant Memory Banner

I love pictures!  They create conversations, remind me of good times and fill my heart with gratitude. This is why I have been looking for a unique way to display my personal photos throughout the year.  I think I created just the thing.  It's called the Basic Dictionary Pennant Memory Banner.

The idea is pretty simple:  hang banner, decorate with photos and holiday themed items, enjoy!

Here is an example of it all gussied up for Halloween. 

The great thing about this banner is its' versatility.  It is both a yearlong decorative piece AND a revolving photo display!  Plus, all pictures and decorations are super easy to take down and replace! You will have as much fun creating it as people will looking at it.

All  holiday-themed "add-on" kits are sold separately (you provide the photos, of course).

Father's Day Memory Banner

Lookie lookie what we've created!  A Fathers' Day memory banner just in time for June 16th!  It is a trip down memory lane that the men in your life will surely love...a living, breathing banner that I can see grow through the years as you add new photos and memories.  It comes only as a kit, but is so easy to assemble.  The cute little tie cuts are made in coordinating prints of paper from the Pebbles Inc Family Ties Collection.  And, the mini quote cards are a Pebbles exclusive!  As always, the best part is its' ease of assembly. Simply sew the 24 pendant banners together with a straight stitch, leaving approximately 1/2" space between. Sew the mustaches on to the mercantile tags, as shown, and then glue letters onto mercantile cards.  Finally, attach all of the kit pieces to the banner with the mini clothes pins.  I can see this banner become its' own Fathers' Day tradition.
