It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We are loving the new papers and kits we are creating... with three holidays ahead of us, I find myself  hopping here and there between them as I create. Not the wisest use of my time, but inspiration comes and you just have to go with it. I do have my list of ideas and will do my best to work down the list quickly... paper crafts, wood and digital.Meanwhile, think of this as a sneak peak of the kits that are being created. Let the Countdown Begin: Christmas

I began my Christmas shopping in September and have been anticipating the desire for all the other holiday activities as well: baking, Christmas tree shopping (real or imitation?), decorating...I like to do things early. Plus, planning things out ahead for Christmas, and then counting down the days, builds up the excitement for me in a non-stressful way. It just makes the whole season more enjoyable!

I designed this guy with ease in mind. All you have to do is snip a little off his beard each day until you reach the magical day of Christmas. Then, just throw it away (I love that part the most)! I am trying to de-clutter, remember?

DIY : Halloween Treat Bag

In case you were wondering, there is exactly 54 days until Halloween.  If it is your favorite holiday, I am sure you knew that already.  If not...why not?  Halloween is one giant pretend party where everyone can dress up and be what they want, regardless of their age, with free treats for all!  What is not to like?

Speaking of treats, here is one of our newest little DIY goodie bags.  We call it our Halloween Treat Bag.  You can find it on our website here.  My favorite thing about this one is its' colors.  Still Halloween-ish, but with a touch of whimsy.  In this kit, the bags come pre-made.  So, the only thing I think you will need some guidance on is the bow.  Check out our tutorial below.

Assembly Instructions for Halloween Treat Bag

Fill bag with your favorite treat of gift.  Carefully place the 2 slits together on the bow cutout.

Push the center of bow fold inward.  Fold the top edge of bag over in the back, place folded doily on top, followed by the center of the bow.  Staple all layers together.

Attach rhinestone on top of bow for embellishment.

Ahhh! The joy of banners. The only thing better than one banner is two or three layered together... somehow magic happens when we combine our favorites together. Each season, we pick our favorite paper collection and we build the seasonal line around it... everything beautifully matches. This year the Maggie Holmes Collection by Crate Paper is our hands down favorite. Extra product can be found in the store and here. They are available as kits here for an easy pick up and can be assembled in minutes.

love is all around us

I originally wanted to unveil an idea a day, but who am I kidding? My history of blogging each and everyday is not too good... life gets busy for all of us. Also I realize that those of you placing your orders online want to group the kits together and get them quickly all at once.
