It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We are loving the new papers and kits we are creating... with three holidays ahead of us, I find myself  hopping here and there between them as I create. Not the wisest use of my time, but inspiration comes and you just have to go with it. I do have my list of ideas and will do my best to work down the list quickly... paper crafts, wood and digital.Meanwhile, think of this as a sneak peak of the kits that are being created. You will find them in store and online. And this year they are all available not only as kits, but also PREMADE just for you. That's right, we will do the assembly for you for a minimal cost. Good news huh?

Christmas Woodcrafts : Candy Cane and Trees

Today I am featuring the last of our Christmas woodcrafts. We have received such positive response to all of our creations this year, especially our woodcrafts. If you would like to view all of them at once, click here. Otherwise, scroll down to enjoy our final three.
Candy Cane
 Christmas Trees
Stacking Tree

Only the Candy Cane wood craft can be purchased as either the wood shape only or as a kit. When you have a choice, and the time, I always think that buying the kit is the best way to go. For just a little extra, you receive hand selected paper choices and supplies that are all well coordinated. Also, no extra clutter hanging around...a real PLUS!

Merry Christmas Kraft/Doily Banner

Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa is coming soon. Before it's too late, I wanted to share one last banner with you. As many of you already know, my Merry Christmas Kraft/Doily Banner has been around for quite a while now and is considered (I think) a Pebbles classic! So, if any of you are in the mood for something traditional, this is perfect!
It comes complete with holly berries and leaves, letters, doilies and bakers twine. It especially looks great when paired with either of the these Pebbles Christmas garlands.
I can't wait to see how my readers have been using my creations. Hope you are having a very Merry Christmas season!

Christmas Chocolate Spoons

Every Christmas, I like to make homemade treats for my neighbors and friends. It takes a little bit of planning and work, but is so appreciated and really put me in the holiday spirit! This year, I am going to make something a little bit different. I found the recipe for these Christmas Chocolate Spoons on the blog Cherished Bliss. Don't they look divine?
Audra, the foodie over at Cherished Bliss, always finds the most yummy treats!
These would turn any regular cup of hot milk or chocolate into something festive. For ingredients and directions how to make, click here. And, just for fun, I've posted my personal favorite homemade recipe for hot chocolate below :)

Pebbles Homemade Hot Chocolate
1 cup whipping cream
12 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 tsp salt

Combine ingredients and heat in microwave until melted. Store covered in fridge.
To eat, put one scoop in a cup of milk. Heat in microwave.
Note: sometimes a sprinkle of hazelnut coffee creamer is heavenly
Enjoy!

Keeping It Simple : Classic Merry Christmas Banner

Henry David Thoreau wrote "Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify." I couldn't agree more! When my life gets complicated, I usually end up far from the things that matter most:  family, friends, time to enjoy the little things, serving others and my faith. Keeping this Christmas simple was the inspiration for our latest banner because a simple holiday season is a joyful holiday season.

Of course, this banner could be easily embellished with sprigs of holly, mistletoe, ribbons or small Christmas ornaments. It's the perfect decoration for the traditionalist who likes things uncomplicated. :)

LDS December Visiting Teaching Message

Our Christmas Visiting Teaching Messages for December are going fast! I used an Almond Joy candy bar beautifully wrapped in one of our "Come Let Us Adore Him" quote cards. The message is neatly folded and tucked in back. They are now ready for pick up in the store or online. Group your orders together to save on postage ($2.99 each)!
This month's message discusses the divine mission of Jesus Christ. Of course, the message can be easily removed if you want to just use it as a Christmas gift for neighbors or friends. Enjoy!

Christmas Classics : Treat Boxes

Some things never lose their charm! Down here at the shop, we have several designs that our customers have come to expect year after year. You could say they have become a Pebbles tradition. Treat boxes are one of these and today I am highlighting 2 Christmas favorites!
Our Holly Pillow Box makes a perfect party favor, place setting or special gift...just add your favorite treat. It's Christmas "specialness" all tied up!
A cheerful way to say Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas to family and friends, our Santa Treat Box works well as a place setting or party favor too. Don't you love his little face?

Both kits come with enough supplies to make a set of 6. And assembly time? Only 30 minutes (another Pebbles tradition)! I hope that your holiday plans are well under way and that you are finding time to enjoy this Christmas season. We finally had a big snow fall here, and I can't wait to get outside and play!

New Holiday Receipe : Chocolate Date Truffels

Let's face it, we all want to be good during the holidays, but it's so hard with all the yummy treats around. To not taste them is ridiculous! That's why these Chocolate Date Truffles seem to be the perfect holiday treat alternative. They take little to no time to prepare (we are all very busy), are naturally sweetened by dates and contain dark chocolate! Yum!
You will find literally hundreds of recipes for these on Pinterest. Most contain the same main ingredients of Medjool dates, dark chocolate and some type of chopped nut. The picture I posted here is from the food blog Alternative Medicine. But, the best one I found is from The Urban Baker. You can see it here. If you have made these already, or do sometime in the future, let me know what you think. I can't wait to give them a try!

What's your favorite delicious and healthy holiday recipe?
