Which brings me to something I have wanted to mention for a while. There are always 2 finishing techniques you can use when making any of my wood crafts: paper or paint. On my website, I only have a purchase option for the supply kit for the paper finishing technique. However, paint gives a beautiful finish as well. Here is an example of me using paint to finish the santa of my Christmas Friends wood craft:

Don't be intimidated! Paint is actually quite easy to do. If this is something you would like to try, only purchase the unfinished wood of your desired wood craft. Then, buy the painting supplies separately. I outline all the details for my Christmas Friends on the blog post
